ClubSport Series DGFX
Halifax, NS – August 24, 2019 – Season 3 of the ClubSport Series is set to launch on November 16 at Okayama.
The series will add an additional race to the Calendar for a total of 6 races with a 4-hour finale at Interlagos. The full Calendar for Season 3 is:
Round 1 – 2.4 Hrs of Okayama – November 16
Round 2 – 4 Hrs of Brands Hatch – December 7
Round 3 – 2.4 Hrs of Mosport – January 11
Round 4 – 4 Hrs of Barcelona – February 15
Round 5 – 2.4 Hrs of Phillip Island – March 7
Round 6 – 4 Hrs of Interlagos – April 4
There will be other changes to Season 3 including a new qualifying format, a new points structure for the 4-hour races and changes to the AM Championship.
Qualifying sessions will be the same duration however after leaving the pits teams will not be able to return.
In 4-hour races there will be half points awarded at the midway mark and full points awarded at the finish.
In the AM Championship, all cars are entered by default but only cars where AM drivers qualify and satisfy a minimum AM drive time will receive points toward the AM Championship.
